Code of Conduct

1. Fair Play

Required

  • Play matches honestly — report accurate results and screenshots
  • Follow the Result Verification process for all matches
  • Respect match schedules and show up on time
  • Use your own account — no account sharing or boosting

Prohibited

  • Cheating: Using exploits, glitches, or external tools for unfair advantage
  • Match fixing: Intentionally losing or manipulating match outcomes
  • ELO manipulation: Intentionally losing to lower rating, creating smurf accounts
  • Result fraud: Submitting falsified screenshots or incorrect scores
  • Queue abuse: Repeatedly declining ready checks or abandoning 10-Mans matches

2. Communication Standards

Expected Behavior

  • Treat all players with respect
  • Be constructive in feedback and criticism
  • Help new players learn the Platform and game

Prohibited Behavior

  • Harassment: Targeting, bullying, or intimidating other users
  • Hate speech: Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability
  • Toxicity: Excessive trash talk, personal attacks, or abusive language
  • Threats: Any form of threats, including doxxing or real-world harm
  • Spam: Excessive self-promotion, repeated messages, or advertising outside designated areas
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be another player, team, or organization

3. Team Conduct

  • Captains are responsible for their team members' behavior
  • Respect transfer windows and roster rules in leagues
  • Do not poach players from other teams during active competitions
  • Honor scrim commitments — cancellations should be communicated in advance

4. Tournament and League Conduct

  • Follow the rules set by the tournament/league organizer
  • Respect check-in deadlines and match schedules
  • Do not disrupt brackets by forfeiting without cause
  • Accept organizer decisions on disputes (organizers have final say for their events)

5. Consequences

Automated Penalties (10-Mans Queue)

Offense Penalty
Decline ready check / AFK 5-minute queue ban (escalating: 15 min, 1 hour, 24 hours)
Abandon match -25 ELO + 15-minute queue ban

Organizer-Level Actions

  • Tournament/league organizers can ban teams from their specific events
  • Organizer bans do not affect access to the rest of the Platform

Platform-Level Actions (for severe or repeated violations)

Minor (first offense) Warning via Discord
Moderate (repeated offenses) Temporary account suspension (1-7 days)
Severe (cheating, fraud, hate speech) Permanent account ban

Platform-level actions are handled by HubMatch administrators via Discord.


6. Reporting

  • How: Report violations via Discord support channel
  • What to include: Player/team name, description of the violation, evidence (screenshots, match IDs)
  • Response time: Reports are reviewed within 48 hours
  • Confidentiality: Reporter identity is kept confidential

7. Appeals

  • Suspended or banned users may appeal via Discord
  • Appeals are reviewed within 7 days
  • Decision on appeal is final
